At Darwin this weekend the V8s are using a new control tyre. Pretty much the whole field has given the new tyres the thumbs up, all except Tander. What a surprise. Just because him and HRT can't set up a car means that it just has to be the tyres fault. He is just angry because he is no longer the fastest man out there (even though i think he never was), and he's not winning the championship, Boo-freakity-hoo Tander, why don't you go cry about it? |

I agree Michael , I can`t wait to hear what pearls of wisdom he comes out with if they interview him sometime today . I woldn`t start counting my chickens yet though mate , he did hold out the 2 Fords yesterday , I think it will come down to whether he has any tires under him in the last race today , the big sook might just get a third in the round . But he won`t beat the Flying Fords up the front , and , as always , I`ll stand corrected . |

Well you were right Twodogs. Tander certainly does whinge as Michael and yourself state but showed diplomacy upon the podium. Guess he had to ay. HRT overall have got to lift their act. |

You will not get any arguement from me as regards their impact and input to the sport however they appear to have lossed their way this year in certain areas. Look at Hamilton. Tander was untouchable .Since that event the speed and consistency has not continued for whatever reason. They can not continue to blame the cars or ancillary components because they already have the best. . |

Well it looks like the new Control Tyre Has not been accepted through out the fraternity. Now we know what Russell was talking about with regard to Parity. He clarified on the weekend he considers the Ford has accepted the tyre moreso than the Commodore. Therefore he and 888 are going to test a alternate compound on the 18th Aug at QLD raceway.Neither party will know which tyre they are testing at various periods. Interesting to hear result. |

Well the results are in. 888 due to rebuff from Ford refused to participate however DJR with Will Davidson stepped in for testing. Will reckons tyre is certainly an improvement and definately a consideration to be taken on board. Russell: NO COMMENT(At this time anyway) |
