My point is the teams should be responsible enough to sitdown and discuss the financial aspects of there respective budgets without intervention from the authorities. Dick Johnson who has suffered financially during the recent past has been quite vocal regarding this aspect and has hinted if a cap was instituted we as supporters would be watching boring races in single file.

I feel the authorities owe a responsibility to the Supporters, the Teams, the Sponsors, the Drivers to provide adequate facilities to enhance the sport now and into the future. The base for good and interesting racing starts with the tracks and the rest will follow. I also consider each state should enjoy a decent facility not only appropriate to V8's but also other categories including the local light Car Club. Yes this does include N.Z. Russell and Steve Johnson stated Townsville had all the room in the world within the Reid Park area. If so why are they constructing a facility of only 2.8Klms. TwoDogs I don't think The Moderator would take exception to our views if kept in check. Be interested to hear other comments from forum. Regards
