Well , good onya Paul , if you keep driving like this , I`ll have no one to whinge about , a very controlled drive as far as I could see , I didn`t see what happened to you in the second race ,thanks to the brilliant coverage by Channel 7 , some sort of " off " in the damp conditions I think , but your effort in the last race is one of your better performances I can remember . If you continue to drive as you did this weekend , you may well be able to include yourself in the hallowed ranks of the steering wheel attendants , and more importantly lift yourself up and away from the crash magnets at the back of the field . If the claim by VYAcclaim elsewhere in these forums is correct , Russell certainly had a car capable of a top 10 finish , it`s a long way to go only to be dudded by an over zealous , and probaly innept official . I enjoyed seeing Garth Tander beaten on his home track too , that`ll knock him off his high horse for a while . |

I agree, although i didnt see any of the coverage, from what i have heard and read Morris had a fantasitic weekend. Well done! The calls by the stewards were extremely disappointing and it is a shame for Russ, he was capable of a top 5 finish i reckon. Twodogs, i think we share a common hate for Tander do we not? |

youre not the only one that was disappointed that ingal lwas robbed with the steve richards skaife incident he would have had a top 5 finish and yes i share the dislike 4 tander also |

MichaelVT and Mattforcer39, I don`t really "hate" anyone , not even the sometimes outspoken and threatening Paul Morris . But I do dislike with a passion , a few people who drive V8`s I don`t really know what is is I dislike about dear Garth , certainly he can drive a bit , and I admire him for that , but , I think what gets up my frock the most is his attitude , he comes across to me as very arrogant , high and mighty , up him self ,and self important . If it matters , I think the same about one Greg Murphy , a brilliant driver , but I think he`s had a charisma bypass . |

Oh my gosh.. i know this thred is old but just reading the comments that you think (twodogs) Garth and Greg have attitude... Have you actually spoke to either of these guys?? Now.. i'm not saying i know everything about anything with these drivers but i've been around long enough and have seen the (behind the scenes) of the sport many of times and you couldn't be more far from the truth if you tried.. And i also know everyone's got an opinion and this is just mine  |

I have not had the opportunity to meet either of these drivers. However they certainly have talent but they do carry a reputation of being agro at times. It is good to see passion overcome a false reality. I think their approach to the sport is good and raises interest. Everyone can not be the good guy. |

Lauren i completely disagree with you over Tander, i have no problem with Murph (i think he is interesting and great for the sport), but Tander is someone i cannot stand. He'll take all the credit when they are winning, but once things start going pear shaped he starts whinging and i cant stand it. I also believe he is unsportsmanlike, remember back to Phillip island the other year when Lowndes was trying to pass him to fight for the championship (and Tander wasnt). Tander was blocking and subsequently received a drive through - but no he had to keep going. He nearly stopped in front of Lowndes at one point and that is just wrong, and i hate him for that. I know its just my opinion but i can't see how anyone could like that guy. A very, very arrogant, hypocritical and unsportsmanlike person. |

well... if anyone has some bloody agro times it's russell!!!!.... but that's what i love most about him.. and i love murph for that matter aswell.... one of my most fond memories in the sports political times is when murph spent those few minutes he had at bathurst that yr on the toilet bashing around going nuts letting it all out... i love drivers and men (hehe...) that wont take any bullshit and will stand up for themselfs even so if it means they'll get bloody fine.. and ohh... just to drop it in i really do think the Jones's team is fantastic... I've had many laughing times at the tv as Kim Jones knows he'l get into shit for what he says on tv but he honestly couldn't give a shit..... love it... Oh and whilst i'm in the loving mood i'd like to say i really do love having a go on this Supercheap forum.. I have so much passion and thought for this sport and it's great to actually let t all out and have someone agree or most of the times disagree with me but to talk to (or write to) people who know what i'm actually going on about is just TOPS! hahaha.... ok ok enough with the love....... If anyone's a sorry little sucker and gets in peoples way all the time it's bloody Rick Kelly!!! ARRRRRR............ don't get me started on the LITTLE boy or i'll be typing all night! |
